I see loads of you are buying the big slr cameras but I think thats too hard for me to use and too heavy to carry

does anyone have any good suggestions for a smaller compact camera with great picture quality and good in low light for shows and things?

of all the digital cameras I have tried, NONE are good in low light situations... the pictures are usdually blurred :(

Having said that, the best one Ive tried is a canon....

I like my little Sony Cyber-shot Super Steady Shot DSC-T50  It's served me well for nearly 3 years now, and I find it's really quite good in low light. There are lots of little functions that I have never bothered to play with that will probably make things even better! There will be upgraded models now I guess, so maybe have a look at the range and see if any suit you
