The menu will represent the 37 countries of North, Central and South America. The opening is today!

Also, a clarification: "the street foods of the Americas" is not part of the name, just a tagline, the company says.

Paradiso is being developed in the Pleasure Island district, across from the former nightclub formerly known as 8TRAX, which closed last September with the other PI clubs.

Opening hours are Sunday -Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 12 a.m then Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.

I wonder if the food will REALLY be representative...

I've had a look at the menu and unfortunately I can't say I'll be rushing to eat there :unsure:
I'm just too picky of an eater :sorry:

Im REALLLLLLY picky too but I was quite impressed with the menu, I thought they had stuff like steak even if I wasnt feeling adventurous :lol:

Of course, how good it is in reality is a different matter

They've supposed to have nightly entertainment as well so that should be interesting

As representative as the picky American tourist will let them be probably. :sigh:

I don't mean to imply that all American tourists are picky but a lot of the theme park food is dumbed down to the basic palette. Some of us are more experimental and like to try "real" authentic cuisine. Disney is frustrating on that front sometimes.

And I wouldn't mind if they did that, as long as they had some "plain" items on each menu (with prices, thank you!) for those of us who are picky! :lol:

had a peek at there menu and seemed a bit fancy for me i like stuff so plain.

we have noticed with alot of the menu's that gratin or mash potatoes seem to be everywhere no baked or fries as an option wonder if there moving away from those

Yeah, I'm a fan of baked potatoes--or occasionally fries. Mashed potatoes are okay, but you have to be careful what is in them. I don't mind a bit of garlic, but the whole garlic cloves in the WDW mashed potatoes is waaaaayy too much! The only good thing is I can move them out of the way! :lol:
