they run up the chair/benches and strut across your legs
if I sit out in the garden through the day I have to turn the bench/chair over, and squirt it with the hosepipe before I can sit on it if I see a dreaded web.

I'm beginning to feel left out! Temps on the Dorset coast don't appear to be any higher than an average summer. Certainly no trouble sleeping. Yesterday lunchtime the car temp display said 74. Not fair!

They were predicting 30 in the East today.... I was awake until 2 last night. My poor cat is in such a bad mood, he keeps bawling at me to turn the heating off.......
Why don't we have airconditioning over here! :hopmad:

Well, after the last few days of being totally baking hot, and driving to the shops this morning with the roof down on the convertible, the temperature has just dropped and the rain is coming down in monsoon-like proportions with lots of thunder and lightning too!! I can't even run to the car to get my shopping out to unpack it - it is way too wet out there! It's still hot in the house though, I think the heat has been building for too many days for that to ease straightaway. To top it all the storm has caused my Sky tv to stop receiving just as Wimbledon is about to come on!!!! Noooooooo!!! :sorry:

Oh god yes Mick.... you won't regret it. It cools the whole room down not just the bit of your body where the fan is blasting onto you when you have a fan only.
