Well, we will be soon! :lol:
It's about 3:00 a.m. on Sunday and I need to leave for the airport by 6:00 a.m. I'm waiting for the load of towels to finish washing--which should coincide with drying my hair! If things go well, I should manage about an hour's nap. If not, I'll probably be fading fast by 4:00 p.m.! :eek:
It's been a crazy week. Apart from all the normal stuff, Grandpa Sweetie, Leu's DH, went to the emergency room last Monday night with chest pains and numbness in his arms and was admitted to the VA hospital immediately--for three nights. He has had two heart attacks since 2002, so that was everyone's first thought. However, he fooled everyone this time. No specific diagnosis, but the thought is he had a reaction to medications. He'll be seeing his specialists this week after Leu and I return from Las Vegas.
So our trip almost cancelled, but pulled itself out of the hat at the last minute. We're going to kick back and relax this visit. We have a few things we would like to do, but we aren't going to worry if we don't. Las Vegas will be there for a while yet! :lol:
Be good while I'm gone--as if you could be anything else! I'm taking the laptop, but seriously doubt I'll use it for anything other than checking us in for our return flights. :shrug:
