Hi  I read that soon we'll be able to make disney online adr reservations? Is it available yet and if so where do you go? I've looked all over the Disney website and can't find online dining reservations anywhere

yeah same here but it's great to know it's there and hopefully working soon!
It'll be really excellent to be able to book all this without trying to call internationally and getting people who don't understand what we're saying
It'll be interesting to see how well it works of course. Even last week booking ADRs from our resort room was painful.

Oooo I just got it to work. Perhaps certain locations just haven't been added yet or something weird.
Pretty cool really... when it works

I booked a client's ADR's last week using it. I had to call for Mcikey's Backyard BBQ because the online system would not take her address. I also had to call for Sanaa. There was no availability online but lots when I called.
I had the same issue when I did the ADR for Le Cellier for our Aug trip.

hmmmm good tip thanks Johnie.
I'm finishing up the guide to booking ADRs online for the main website, so I'll be sure to mention that if people get no luck online they should still try phoning.

yeah agreed! really nice
No way to enter Tables in Wonderland discounts that I've seen yet (for things like dinner shows)
I wonder how it'll work out for things like CRT? Will ADRs become available online dead on the same time that the phone lines open etc

The rumor was that you could start booking online at midnight. It hasn't worked so far. It seemed to open up at 7am EST.
There has also been some problems reported with being able to book the 90 +10 window. Some haven't been able to book for onsite guests beyond the 90 days. I was able to.

From having a play with it I couldn't do the +10 so hoping you can still call. I can book my first 10 days this Saturday :)

I haven't yet found a way to tie in a reservation to it which would be needed for the +10. Perhaps if you have a reservation on your login it would be clever enough to see it.

I managed to make an ADR online for Crystal Palace but now I can't view or retrieve it :(
It seemed quite simple to use and I like the way it gives alternative restaurants if the one you want isn't available, but I wish they would show alternative times for your first choice too. I'd rather accept a different time slot than change restaurants.

Bout to give it a go this morning and see how it works for me! Supposedly it will let me in at 6:00 AM EST. At least according to the CM's at the reservations number.
BTW... Back off Debbie! I saw that table first! :taunt:

Well...
That went rather smoothly. Kind of a suprise. :mental:
Got everything I was after at the times that I wanted them at. Or at least reasonably close.
Even Le Cellier!
Only odd bit was that I did all my ADR searches and had added everything to my cart. Checked out and it tells me it couldn't make one of my ADR's. Looked to see what was missing and it was our dinner at Biergarten???
Wouldn't have expected that one to be a big problem. Anyway, tried the search again for Biergarten, it found the date and times I wanted, added it to the cart. No problem. This time when I checked out, it went through fine. Don't know what went wrong the first time. Perhaps the reservation system hadn't had it's morning coffee yet.
Anyway, got nice email confirmations on the whole mess. It's all tied to my login on the Disney web site and our resort reservation. I'll login later to see if it let's me view my ADR's online.
Tom (:macwave:... that wasn't too bad, was it?)

Hmmm... I found mine.
Log into Disney.com. When you hover over the "My Disney Vacation" link in the upper right hand corner, there's a pop up menu that let's you choose either your:
Saved Dining Offers (if you've got them in your cart but haven't checked out yet).
Your Dining reservations.
The only bad bit is that on the reservation retrieval page, you've got to enter your actual ADR number and the phone number you used when you originally made the reservation.
Course, all this may only work if you made your ADR's online like I did this morning.
Hope this helps!
Tom (:macwave:... actually worked quite well for me!)

One thing I noticed today. :peekaboo:
I did manage to tie our reservation number to the ADR's. So, when I was trying to find the time slots for our dining plans, the popup calendar they give you to choose a date with had the dates from the 90 day mark out through our entire stay (7 days) enabled. Beyond the 7 days of our stay, the dates were disabled on the calendar.
Tom (:macwave:... keep playing with it, we'll get it figured out!)
Hmmmm...I can't get the site to work. I'm sure it's because I don't know how to use it, but then there are no really good directions (and heaven knows I need clear directions for things like this). When I make any sort of selection the entire site "grays out" and nothing happens.
I'm wondering if it's something to do with the site and my computer?

Good for you!
on my work IBM lenovo...
I'm sorry. (I've got one of those too for my work.)
Now, after you entered your desired date, time and number of people in your party, did you get the little popup type window that says "Please wait while we process your request" and has the little spinning thing around a mouse head icon?
Tom (:macwave:... working on it.)

I can't get that far Tom. Any "click" results in the graying out and inability to proceed. So when I choose the resort, or the restaurant, it goes no further. As I said, I'm sure it's my lack of understanding how the system works.

Tink,
Have you tried it with Internet Explorer? You might want to give that a shot. Although I think Firefox is a better browser.

I thought the on-line system was supposed to be available 24/7
Well, I was concerned about getting what we wanted. So, when I was talking to the main reservations number the other day (I was making a payment), the CM I was talking with was giving me hints on what to try to get first (Le Cellier, Coral Reef, etc) and when to get them. She mentioned that the online system would let me make ADR's at 6 AM on the 90 day mark rather than the call in system which didn't even open till 7 AM.
So, in the interests of "being there first", I was on my computer at 5:30 AM, 90 days before the start of our vacation. Sure enough, when I tried to make an ADR at that time, the little calendar popup they give you only went out as far as the day BEFORE our arrival. Waited till 6 AM and tried again and bingo... now the calendar popup shows my whole trip dates as being available. So evidently, the CM told me right. Our trip dates became available at 6 AM on the 90 day before mark.
Tom (:macwave:... precision dates... what a concept)

Still glitches in the system. You can make your bookings 24/7. Right now though, if it after midnight on the 90 day mark you are going to have to wait a few hours. Now if your 90 day mark was a day or so ago and you want to go on at 2am tonight and make ADR's you should be ok.
