Some of you may remember that after I came back from our hols at the beginning of the year, I excitedy popped my SW photo DVD into my computer to view the photos from our Marine Mammal Keeper experience.....and the photos weren't there.
I contacted SW and got a letter back saying they were sorry and the money would be refunded back into my account. This letter is dated 7th February.
I waited and waited.....nothing. I rang them up....nothing. I waited and waited...nothing. I rang them again....nothing.
What would you do? Give up? It is only $64 but it is better in my pocket than theirs :sigh;

no i would go higher and claim some compensation from all the hassle

I'd keep at them! It'll be someone agreed but then didnt communicate or fill in the right forms to make it happen. Given youve got past the hurdle of getting them to agree to refund, I'd definitely keep on at them

Another vote for 'keeping on at them'! Imagine if 10 people had the same problem and didn't push for a refund. That's $640 SW have made for no reason! Good luck.

Keep at them Isafari! And claim for your phone calls too!
Don't give up Isa!!! It may just be only $64 but that's money you could use someplace else!

Don't give up Diane, I'd keep hounding them until they pay up - they might give you an Annual Pass if make enough noise as compensation :fingers:

Tink....what does AR stand for?
Any idea of how to get in touch with these people? I only have the number I was given in the letter for 'guest correspondence' and then they gave me the number for the 'accounts dept' neither of which got me anywhere.

I know what you mean but we all work too hard for money to have it taken and not get what was promised

AR or AP, Tink?
Diane, AR = Accounts Receivable; AP = Accounts Payable. AP would issue a check, but it has to go through the refund approval process first.
It sounds as though your claim got stuck in the process somewhere.
Gather your previous contact information and contact Southwest again with the information you already have, including the refund promise. Do it via email or snail mail so you have documentation.

Just an update.....or not
Still no reply from the letter I sent over a month ago....will let you know if I ever hear from them :mad:
I am going to write to Mr carrier again but let him know I'm not happy with the lack of response so far. I still have the original documentation and receipt (sent photocopies in post)
Can I just ask one thing? I spoke to a lady in accounts at one point and I took her name which I want to quote in this next letter but, it's an unusual name and I don't want to offend anyone by spelling it wrongly.
Now, I have it written down as Neetza Peraz. Is anyone familiar with either of those names? If so, do you have the correct spelling?

I don't have any idea Diane sorry, it could be Nitza Perez though. Just spell it as you think and then say you are sorry if you have the spelling of her name incorrect :yes:

Just waiting for a response to my phone thread to put my mobile numbre on the letter then I can get it posted.....and hopefully a response this time. (what is it with people wanting my money) :lol:

I'm going to take the letter with me to SW in December .... anyone know who I would ask to see?
I don't, Issy but I would say to ask for the General Manager of Operations? Or, the general manager of accounting? You'll want someone fairly high up in the management structure.

Just an update.
Recieved a response in the post today.....another letter saying that they are sorry for the delay and the money should be back in my account within two billing cycles. Here we go again :unsure:

I aint giving up!! I'll take the letter with me in December and try for answers.
