If you have a fastpass for a ride and that ride gets shutdown for a while due to bad weather, can you still use your fastpass when it re-opens if your time is up?

We had Fast passes for Everest on New years day and it broke down but the cast member said not to worry and that they could be used at anytime in the future. When we returned on our last day and gave them to the new cast member he exchanged them for three fast passes each for us lol so we went on three times in a row which was a fab way to end our holiday.

You can actually use a fastpass at any time after the allotted time, just not earlier. You can go back to your resort and return to the park in the evening and still use that fastpass. We have used fastpasses later many times.

Some people collect fastpasses during the day and return at night and use them then.

Wow, that's great to know :yes: We've actually missed our fastpass times quite often and thrown them away! Is this in 'the rules' of the fastpass or just chancing you get a friendly CM when you want to use them late?

I'm not sure about rules. Some US friends told us, as a 'little known fact', and it has always worked.

You're welcome. We used to give our fastpasses away that we presumed we couldn't use. Now we can relax and return when we want.

Yep, you can use that FP anytime after the initial time on the ticket. Most people don't know this.
