I'd like an iphone. :D
The problem is that I had a go on one and I couldn't use the on-screen keypad because of my long nails.
So, do you have a problem with your nails or is there a technique to it?

Or would I just have to shorten my nails? :eek3:

Couldn't you get a little poky stick thing to use instead?

DW said exactly the same thing but after trying it she's able to use her finger tips, or thumb, to control it with no problem

Nope. Nails would perform that function but it doesn't work.

Ah, thanks Keith, Maybe it just takes a bit of practise.

it's a lot easier to use fingertips with the iphone- i had a prada and didn't get on well with it but don't have this problem now.

I have no trouble using my IPhone and I have long nails, it has been made easier now the keyboard can be flipped to text, I do have a IPhone pen but I hate it so it's stuck in a drawer somewhere.

Never used one, but could you use a knuckle instead of your fingertip?

My Sister uses mine to play bejewelled and her nails are ridiculous so unless you are like cruela deville you should be fine LOL

Thank you, that sounds promising then.

Hmm... that's what I do when using the keypad for chip&pin. :D

Thank you. :-) Not quite Cruella but pretty long most of the time. :D

Thanks for all of your replies. It sounds as though I will be able to use one so that's good news.:wiggle:

Anytime you're someplace where you need to type something (SMS text message, field on a web page, etc.), just turn your iPhone sideways.

You'll automatically get the bigger keyboard.

Tom (:macwave:... sideways is bigger!)
