Where is the balloon at downtown disney?

I've heard there's a new balloon ride at downtown disney? does anyone know which bit its at and if it's any good?

It's just where the West End meets PI. We've not done it yet, but will when the boy is with us. It's "grounded" a lot because of high winds and poor weather. Summer is not the best time, eh?

You can't miss it, even if it's tethered in. It's a HUGE yellow balloon. :yes:

yep, even in relatively good weather, there's a fair amount of sway on the way up. It's $16 a head I think and gives a pretty good view

Yes, that's about the price. I thought it was fairly reasonable. Less for children (but not a whole bunch less).

Did you go up, Keith? What can you see? It's going to be tricky picking a clear day. In the summer the haze obscures the view, I'm sure...

Daughter & I went up in May - 1st day we tried it was too windy & they stopped people going up - then couple days later we went up! It was great:thumbsup:

You can see Epcot, Everest & for miles!!
