Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is the sixth book, right?

the next and LAST one is Harry Potter and the Deadly Hollows....

So far so good?

Then WHY are they filming TWO more movies set for release during the summers of 2010 and 2011?

What did I miss?

wow!

It's not that bad IMO. The difference with this Harry Potter compared to the others is that this one was more of a set up for the Deathly Hallows than it was as a stand alone story. You get a lot of information that you have to process.

I would love to see the Director's cut of this one!

yep completely agree, all setup  It was never going to make a great movie but I must admit, I had assumed they'd do SOMETHING to spice it up :/

To be honest, given they're going to make two movies from deathly hallows, Im thinking back to the first half of the book and thinking we may not see a GREAT movie until the second half in 2011!

Mari

I think its like cheating the audience when they do that...

As for the 2 part deathly hallows... I agree Keith, really the firs thalf of the bookis about nothing, except for them hiding... B-O-R-I-N-G

I'm going back to reread it and I'll let you know.

Saw the film this afternoon and...

It was ok. Just ok. Nothing amazing. And way too long. Any film over 100 minutes long has to be amazing for me to stay interested.

For Helena Bonham Carter, I'd think just waking up every day beside Tim Burton and living in his world must be adventure enough...truth's stranger than fiction, I'll bet!

Rofl, Judging from the amount of vids of her on youtube she certainly floats somebodies boat! Not my cup of tea I must admit but I think she is a terrific Bellatrix!

She can be so pretty! And in reality, she usually does a lot of films with Johnny Depp. Can't be all bad. :)

That's funny, I thought she sorta looked like a distant cousin to a young Stevie Nicks!
