has earned his black belt in karate . He hasn't been in karate since he was 10 years old . When he gave it up , he was at the green belt level with two brown stripes . One more and he would have had his brown . He never even said a word to me . Today he knocked on the door dressed in his Gi with his black belt . I almost fell over . He's in a tournament August 1st & 2nd . I'm so proud of him !!! He has given up his meds and partying days for discipline . I didn't think I'd ever see the day, but I think the boy has finally became a man . :cry1::bouncing:
He asked if we would come . Wild horses could not keep me away . Did I say how proud I am

That is great news, my eldest is 2 belts away from Black belt, hoping he will get his Red,white and blue next month then one more to go.

It's hard work isn't it? Steven is one stripe away from getting his green belt and he's having to work for it. Black belt really is something to be proud of.

Especially after he hasn't done it in 19 years . But he never forgot, just became more focused and pushed himself .

Very hard work, He went though a time when he didn't want to go but we made him, He is glad he stuck with it now.

Its quite interesting , was watching him practice today . Last time he was just my little boy and so gentle . Now he's really got the moves . I'd hate to be on the other side of those canoe feet .

Debi, that is brilliant news, it really is. The fact he's gone back to it, and made something of it. Just stay away from those feet!

I'm pleased for you hun :hug2:
