Shocking here as well. Sideways rain and wind. Not so bad we need the heating on but so bad the dog doesn't want to go out. Shame.:lol:

It is so cold but I refuse to put the heating on in July! Got soaked getting my shopping to the car this morning and I have the lights on as it's like nighttime here. I really hope it's just getting out of the way before the kids break up from school for the summer :fingers:

Roll on December and some sun and warmth, hopefully :fingers:

The roofing felt is started to come away from the piggie's shed. I've had to climb up and hold it down with bricks. :eek:

Another job on the "things to do" list now. New shed roof. :sigh;

I've had it with this weather! I've got washing piled up everywhere. Clothes airers loaded to the hilt. It should all be on the washing line blowing gently in the warm breeze. Not likely to happen anytime this week!

It's suppose to be 90 and raining here today, but we'll just wait a few days and it'll probably snow or something like that. Living in northern Illinois is just so much fun :rolleyes008:

Be glad to send some sunshine and warmth eastward!

Our weekend temps were around 107--depending on where you are in the valley! And the dewpoint was hovering around 55 degrees. Just high enough to render evaporative coolers ineffective, but not high enough to be completely miserable. Initially the forecast was for 112 to 115 over the holiday weekend. The alternative was marvelous! :)

Forecast now is for temps to lower to around 100 degrees or a bit lower and humidity moving in. We'll be doing our best to rival central Florida in a week or so! :sigh;

Well of course it IS winter here! :lol:

Not that most of you would think so - current temp at approx 7.30am is 7C/ 45F - so it's cold for us. This is usually the coldest week of the year, should start warming up soon!

I saw your name as the last post and thought: "Of course it's winter!" Great minds and all of that! :lol:

45 degrees is quite cold for me, as well. We're at the other end of the spectrum--it's been close to 110 for the past week or so.

Overall, decent spring and summer so far. :thumbs_up:

Still overcast, but the sun is trying. I feel bad for the visitors. :sigh; Rather lousy summer here so far.
