Has anyone got one of those little netbooks and would you recommend it? I asked ages ago but no one really had one back then

I have an Acer Aspire One in blue. I love it! It's nice and light and does everything I need for it to do when I go on vacation.

I am typing this on my pink MSI Wind - I love it! It's lovely and light to carry around!

Battery life is not as long as my larger one - but it does the job.

Not much help on a 9 or in my case 14 hour flight - but then no laptop will last 14 hours anyway! :lovemyputer:

Still looking at them. I did discover you can purchase an external CD/DVD drive, which would solve my software issues. The stuff I use for work isn't available on a flash drive or via the internet. And I usually do work while I'm on holiday!

Still not very practical for daily use, but for travel or quick notes, they look like they would be almost perfect! :)
