I've just booked us into the Explorers Hotel at DLRP for August bank holiday weekend!
When we were last there we were told by a CM at the Studios that they planned to change the rules regarding the GAC from including all in your party to just +1. Has anyone been to DLRP recently and needed a GAC that can either confirm or deny this?

We were there last summer. They had two different passes..think one was blue and one was green, both offering access to different rides, but both covering the four of us in our party.
You will be asked if the disabled visitor can walk unaided up steps and for a specific length of time, think they asked us 5 minutes. DS couldn't so the pass we were given restricted rides e.g could not go on Peter Pan's flight (DS favourite) and the new one in the Studios....Crush. Any rides that have steps for emergency disembarkation were not allowed - even when DH said he would carry him if it broke down.
It also works differently in the studios were you queue in line with everyone else and then get designated seating or assistance. I wasn't impressed with it to be honest - we have been 7 times before and wasn't happy with the changes to the system....but guess it is for Health & Safety reasons so can understand why.

Thanks for your help Debbie. :hug1: You've described it as it was when we last went. I'd hate it if we had to split the family in two now though.
