need to hear from you young moms . Kim went to the doctors today and she is two centimeters dialated . I was in the hospital when I was 2 centimeters dialated , but that was 30 years ago . She is very uncomfortable in the back area and cannot get comfortable . Kierstyn wasn't due till August 17th , but we all had a feeling she was coming before the 17th . Ok, just got a text now, she has a discharge . Get the hot water and the towels sterilized . Seriously, your thoughts, is this it ? My cell is attached to me , I sleep with it and everything now . Showers, Potty, you name the place, its there . I'm so nervous :mental:
Oh and I predicted July 30th . They met, got engaged and got married the 30th of August over a period of six times . There is something special for them about the 30th .

Sounds like you could be close!!! :fingers:

We're off to Boston this weekend to visit Jon's cousin's new baby who wasn't "due" until August 12th :)

At the end of the day, due dates are only a "best guess"

Oh, Becca, I'm having a heart attack . I wasn't this :mental: when I gave birth .
Forgot to congratulate Jon's newest family member . Don't mean to be rude . I'm a nut case right now . She had Braxton Hicks last week, whatever the heck they are . Not even sure if I spelled it right . And she was sick over the weekend , cramps, woopies and nausea .

Beccaberry

Of course you weren't!! This is your GRANDDAUGHTER! :)

Tinker
29-07-2009, 12:23 AM
Thanks, Johnie ! I think so too . Everytime the phone rings I jump 100 feet . And these guys are going to work tonight if she seems the same . Jim said he'll drive 100 all the way back and if he gets pulled over by a trooper , he'll have an escort .

Becca, what did Jon's cousin have a girl or boy ? I've always said girls want out first, nosey ya know . Boys want to stay in later where its warm and quiet . As long as they are fed , they could care less .

Tell her to eat Chinese food. I had it the night before I had Alysia. I went to bed thinking it was bad Chinese :-) Funny you said that Johnie . I was watching the doctor on Oprah Winfrey . And they were on the topic of bringing on labor at the due date time , salad with Italian dressing , Chinese Food , X which Kim said, no way and breast stimulation ( :embarassed: even repeating it, I can't say what they really said , so you will have to adlib what I'm trying to say ) my cheeks are flushed :embarassed: just trying to explain :sorry: and Kim said, No way to that too . I know its hard to believe, but when it comes to this stuff I get really :shy:

Josh makes a good midwife, should we send him in?

Popping in for news every so often. Wonder if Tinker has collapsed in the corner from overexcitement!

Wow Tinker! I agree that she could stay dilated for awhile and just get no where with it but with all those other symptoms I'd surely think that would be begining labour!!

She's just waiting for the 30th at this point :)

Hope Kim and baby get some rest!

Gosh were has that time gone. It only seemed a couple of weeks ago that you were saying she was expecting. The cramps seem to say labour unless there the braxton ones.

TINKER WHERE ARE YOU

Tinker
29-07-2009, 05:38 PM
Sister Tink :embarassed: that's it .... but I couldn't say it . And don't intend to do it .
Just came back from her house .Was giving her nice lower back rubs and helping in anyway possible . The cramping isn't consistent yet . So, it probably is those Braxton Hicks . I can't stand this waiting . :mental: Pat called me twice since I've come home and the second time, I yelled at home , Stop Calling Me unless we are going to the hospital . He is a :mental: case too . We packed her bag , camera chargers are charging . Anything we are forgetting ! I swear this is going to be and I Love Lucy episode we will have everything except Kim .

Jade was 1cm two days before she went into labour and had her 'show' the day before.
That night she had stomach cramps but they where irregular, jump forward for 4AM when she is having full-on contractions and getting back massages from my Mum.

I slept through the first 6 hours of her labour and Mum said those where the loudest! LOL

Good luck to her  Big hugs :hug2:. Keep us updated as and when you can!

Tinker
30-07-2009, 12:37 AM
should I take towels with me on the walks  a beach towel in case her water breaks . :mental: could you imagine that, I'd be a wreck , no car and three blocks from her house :mental: or maybe I should drive slow alongside her while shes walking . I asked her if she wanted to take a ride, I know a nice bumpy road . I told her about the stimulation , she said ... are you kidding, they hurt so bad that if he touches them, he'll be too the hospital before me :laugh2: She still has her sense of humor .

and we are still here ! I knew she was stressed the past couple of days, but I wasn't told, what she told me today . Her BP was high the day she found out she was 2 centimeters . We're on the phone this morning and she says, Mom, will you take me to the doctors tomorrow ? Of course sweetie, but why ? you were just there Tuesday . Well my BP was high and they want to check me again tomorrow . OK and then ... I just talked to Shannon and told her I've been having back pain & cramping . Her answer to that was OK, we are going to have the doctor do another internal and if your BP is even slightly high , we are admitting you . Get The Towels & Hot Water . :mental: And you didn't tell me why ??? Because I'm just as :mental: as she is

Tinker
