My wife told me tonight that she booked a trip for us to go to WDW. We are booked from August 28- September 6. We have gone at least once a year for the last 13 years and I truly thought that we weren't going to go this year due to scheduling and I was kind of hoping to go somewhere new. But now that we are going I am happy and cant wait to get there. we got the free dining and already booked Chef Mickey, Teppen Edo , Coral Reef and Liberty Tree and Ohanas. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the welcome back guys. The reason I have been away is because when we came home from our trip last year I assumed that we wouldnt be going back anytime soon and reading about Disney just made me sad. Now that I am going I love reading and seeing everything Disney. I went and bought the Passporter and the 2009 unofficial guide and now I visit this site all the time. My wife already booked MNSSHP tickets for 9/4/2009(this is our first time). Tink we have done Boma and I loved it but my wife didnt, she isn't very adventurous when it comes to food. I was thinking about Citricos or California Grill.

California grill for sure :D
subliminal advert from wdisneysecrets.com - PLEASE Take Keith with you to Disney - advert ends (hope that works :)
Im the same on Boma. I could appreciate the variety but the spices meant I didnt really enjoy it as much as DW did.
Youll love the halloween party too, its really superb. We've booked this year and can't wait!
On not visiting when no disney planned, I know how you feel I really do. I think we all feel the same, but if you stick to the chitchat forum you can generally enjoy chatting to friends and not see TOOOOO much Disney ;)
Ah yes. We had some family members who didn't care for Boma given the spices used. I really enjoy it, but even so not a huge fan of cumin.
California Grill would be my first choice from those two. Solely, because we've never seen a menu from Citrico's that appealed to us. :spring: I'll bet it's nice though, too.
Oh, there is the new Italian place in the World Showcase... Coming from the most incredible city in the world though, you probably wouldn't rate the Italian in a theme park very highly!

Sorry to be the odd person out , but I did not like the Cali Grill . My pork was served almost raw . It turned me completely off . They start with the appewtizer, then sushi , then flatbreads, then entree and then dessert . wasn't my cup of tea , not to say it won't be yours . I would suggest Narcosse's at the GF or Le Celiers in Canada .
I want to try dinner at Cinderellas Royal Table as I've done the breakfast, but not the lunch/dinner .
Which ever you choose I'm sure you will have fun .
So happy for you that you are getting to go back . Have A Wonderful Time !

Ah now that sounds like your server's fault! Cali grill chefs prefer to serve their pork far less well done than I like! The server always explains that to us and we say ooooo no, medium please and it arrives perfect

Well I don't think I'd cope if I had all those  They're just options. We usually have a flatbread to share as a start and then entree and SOMETIMES dessert if we feel like it. They do some WONDDDDERFUL desserts
It's truly great when the fireworks are on! They dim the lights, play the music in and its just magical.
Glad you're going back Butterhead, and good to see you back here

Great news BH. What a great wife. It is hard reading about Disney when you're not going but we love to see you and talk about other things.
