Holly is 11 on Thursday and wants a sleepover which she has had in the past, but now she is going to be 11 they don't want party games etc.

I was thinking about hiring some movies, pop corn, pizza etc but dread the mess of popcorn everywhere.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you've got the right idea and the mess, it's gonna happen with one 11 year old so with six you're just gonna have to grin and bear it.

In fact, at 4am you'd rather the mess was trebled if they'd only go to sleep!

Put them in one room and run for your life. :mental:

Grin and go with it. Get some nail varnish and let them paint nails etc.

I actually hired a friends daughter who was training to be a beauty therapist to do Caitlin's party a couple of years back for a couple of hours. Just think it's only one night LOL

Angela is a trained beauty therapist but now she has Zach that one is out of the window. I could see them painting the dogs nails pink! I think I will lock them in the conservatory! But then I might end up with 6 dehydrated kids! I suppose, lap top, films, sweets etc just might keep them happy for a while.

False nails now that could keeep them quiet for a hour or so. When you see me on here Saturday evening waving a white flag, you know I need rescueing.

I was also going to suggest a spa... nails/facials/pedis .... nail decoration?

I remember a big hit when I was that age were scary movies...

Ummmmm...take them to a local hotel with their nail polish, makeup kits, and the like, check them in and return the next day to collect them up?

Id rather deal with a room full of 11 year olds than a room full of 4 year olds!!

Oh, and don't plan anything for the following day as the kids will go home in drips and drabs then your daughter will go to sleep to recover from her 'sleep'over!
