My best friend and co admin left the board he has been a member of for 6 yrs and loved dearly due to the draining of the soul with the changes....it's so facbook and not warm and friendly anymore....

Another extremely good friend just lost his Dad....

I'm not sure what I feel right now. I fear for my friends life that is still in New Orleans. I fear for my families safty in TylerTown....I'm just plain scared. It's only been 3 yrs...Katrina still fills us all with despair at times...but mostly terror. And now Gustav.......I wonder what kind of storms Canada has? Snow....Moose....I think we could handle that lol.....

Say a little prayer for my friend in New Orleans if you have any to spare.....I'm tired...all this prep work is exhausting...not...

seriously lol...kept waking up without that added noise at night....

I've been since I got the machines in...trying to get everything truly clean...I have seriously grossed myself out in the last few days....didn't realize how dingy our cloths and other washables had gotten! I washed our pillows first....Thought I had ruined one really pretty cream colored one..it came out pure white! Then I remembered it was supposed to be that color...That old washer had been going...

Her Name is Dorothy Miller....she was my partner in crime, a great cook, fantastic seamstress and unmatched in her quilting and crocheting skills....and I miss her more than I ever imagined.

I am the first born of the first born and I was born on her 40th birthday in the same hospital that both she and my Mom were born in.

Keep my Mom in your thoughts...like me she is numb, but I know it will hit her soon.
