hope it's better than the film! (the film was the worst but apparently the book really is good)Originally Posted by Claire, post: 314990
Come to our house! It is getting ridiculous here. Two weeks ago, fifteen books were bought and last week five. We have a huge Oxfam shop in town plus a wonderful shop that does house clearances. It is a disaster as far as my daughter and I are concerned. After a few heavy books, I am now 'reading' (yes, I use the term loosely) Gin O'Clock, the spoof ramblings of the Queen. It is hilarious.Originally Posted by Keith, post: 314922
the film was nothing more than see zombie, shoot zombie for 2 hours straight. No exaggeration. I've not read the book but those who have tell me that it's a lot more considered and more about recollections of the war and the consequences of it.Originally Posted by Claire, post: 314995
You are most definitely welcome! The next book comes out in August.
One of my new favorite authors is Jeff Strand. He writes smart, witty, and creepy stories. He's brilliant in my eyes. Somehow he allows me to laugh and be creeped out at the same time.
That trilogy is on my wish list.Originally Posted by Johnie, post: 315039
