I'm going to DISNEY WORLD!

Ok, well, I'm taking Jon and the kids along, too.

Soooooooo, here's the long story made short. I'm turning 40 THIS YEAR...FOURTY! Originally, we had planned a Disney trip in March to celebrate my birthday as May is a really difficult time for me to get away from work. However, in traveling back and forth to Texas to be with my dad, I exhausted all of my vacation days (and my wallet) so it was necessary to cancel the trip.

Fast forward to last week :) an insurance adjuster called me and asked if I was ready to settle my insurance claim from the automobile accident I was involved in...IN DECEMBER OF 2011! For those of you who were here then, you may recall that accident occurred just TWO days before our PHENOMENAL Christmas Spectacular Trip to Disney.

I said SURE! They threw out a number, I said, "Is that the best you can do?" And after a few rounds of that, they doubled their original offer.

So, as I will have 3 weeks vacation beginning in September, we are taking some of the money and WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!

And here's the best part...not only will we be celebrating MY fortieth birthday, my son (yep, the boy) is turning TWENTY-ONE WHILE WE ARE THERE! Monumental events, right? RIGHT!

OH! There is soooooooo much more to tell you! I just can't wait!
