Arrived at Gatwick in nice time and just went through into Duty Free and within 1 minute the fire alarm went off and we were evacuated. http://wdisneysecrets.com/forums/ima...lies/icon9.png
After about 20 minutes we were allowed back into the terminal so I went to get a coffee and then popped to get Jai some aftershave and low and behold the fire alarm went off again. Had to evacuate but after hearing from someone that the last evacuation was due to some idiot smoking in the toilets :nono: I decided to walk to the Gate as we were 1/2 hour from take off. I thought we would be evacuated at the gate but there was a queue of people boarding so I joined the queue - I was sure we would be delayed but we went on time.
Upon landing at MCO, at passport control my fingerprints didn't match so I was escorted to a side room  - they are sooo miserable these passport guys and you feel like a criminal.
Sat around for 10 mins with the occasional question and then they did my fingerprints again and let me go.
Got car from Budget, ordered a compact and had a free upgrade to Intermediate  I got a PontiacG6 which is soooo lovely, very smoothe and such a nice drive.
Was at the villa with 45 mins of leaving airport so had a very easy drive.
As you can see I am up with the lark and looking forward to my first sunny day in 2 months.
Oooooh, sunshine!!!!! With heat in it!!!! How fab! :D
Glad you weren't delayed with the fire alarms.
Have a lovely time...which is a really stoopid thing to say cos of course you will
Good that you have arrived safely. I hope the weather doesn't disappoint you. :( I'm on the west coast of Florida and it's a gray start to the day. :(
