 Hi Captain Teague and welcome to Secrets.
When are you planning to visit this year?
We're out there in August so are preparing for heat & humidity
Enjoy your planning
Sandra
Ahoy there 'Cap'an ! pull yourself on board and help yourself to some food and wine :hosed::karoke:
Welcome to Disney Secrets!!! It's nice to have you join us.
So, where are you planning on staying this visit?
I have a relative with RCI points they are not using so we are actually looking at staying off property this year. It will save us about $1000. since we would only be paying the $130 to transfer the days. NOT SURE I will be happy off property, but a $1000 is a $1000. Looking at going right around ThxGiving or the first week of Christmas. What do you guys think?
I don't know what RCI points are?
We have never stayed onsite ( for obvious reasons )
I believe from what my guests who have stayed aver Christmas that the parks get very busy.
I was there in November and it's pretty quiet althought Thanksgiving it may be a bit busier but not so busy as Christmas
Sandra
i said Christmas but meant to say first week of December. I'm not sold on the time of year since the park hours will be shorter.
Hi Captain, and a warm welcome to Secrets.
Oh I see, then I think it should be quietish for you :-)
What are RCI points?
Sandra
RCI points are a timeshare vacation club sort of thing. RCI being a different company than DVC of course.
If you are going that time of year do not go the week of Thanksgiving as it is truly mobbed. The first week of December is slower, but not as much as you might think. Loads of DVC people go then... because it's slower!
Second week in December might be a better choice, but either way, avoid T-Day.
