Apple store

Went to the apple store today to book my macbook in for it's repair. The service was excellent (As usual) but I was really amused at how geeky everyone is that works in there :rotfl:

Whilst I was chatting to the genius fixing my macbook, there was another genius with 3 rather attractive women waiting for their friend who was getting help with her iPhone (covered in sparkly diamonds I might add :rotfl:) and the man just did not know how to interact with women :rotfl: it was hilarious to watch.

Niamh was with me and she was waving and showing off to them (As she always does with people haha) and they also did not know how to react to a baby. :rotfl:

I will soundly sleep to night in the fact that I am *not* the biggest :geekon: in the north west :rotfl:

Maybe they didn't have on their formal t-shirt. :unsure:

You know, they're very sensitive to the way they dress. It's a know fact that if they're wearing their black t-shirts, they'll have no luck with women. Or anyone else for that matter. :laugh2:

However, just you wait till they get the iPad in the stores. Then they'll have lovely royal blue t-shirts that say iPad on the front of them. Turns them into rampant lady killers instead of uber-:geekon:

:rotfl: They have royal blue t-shirts in our store, I wonder if they'll switch to black for the iPad :unsure: The genius I spoke to said "I expect you'll have it back in a day or two but it's policy to say 5-7 days"

What annoyed me quite a bit was that the only part that was damaged was the trackpad. :yes: On my bill this cost £27 to fix. However, the battery had a water mark on it and so did the casing. They are replacing the keyboard, the uppercasing, the housing and the battery. The keyboard etc was £54, the battery was £89, the labour was around £60. I think they have to replace them because if they genuinley broke then I'd not be able to get them repaired in-warranty because they would have a big water stain on them!

Thing is, with so many parts replaced, it'll look/feel like totally new :yes:
