pc advice/recommendations....
so we're thinking we need a new pc, our old one is in the loft and we're working on the laptop at the moment which, i think, probably won't last too much longer.....
i truly have absolutely no idea what to look for so wonder whether any of you could point us in the right direction.
ideally we would like something nice looking that can withstand constant use (!), storing loads of photos (actually i would love some good photo editing software to make my photos look great!), games, homework, browsing the internet.....you know, all the usual family stuff!
Needs to be a fast worker, not like what we've been using so far, and it must to be able to listen to us shouting at it when it won't do what we want it to, so not too sensitive! Kid and teenager friendly....
DS nearly 14 would love a laptop too so maybe we should go with wireless broadband although I have no idea how that works! Perhaps we could add another laptop to that in future.
oh, and a decent printer 'cos i'm sick of using rubbish ones!
guide price would be erm......i dunno, £500-£600 give or take a few quid! Can i get anything super duper for that?
oh another request, something you can watch tv on too!
thanks for any help you can give me....:D
Re: pc advice/recommendations....

Re: pc advice/recommendations....
right here we go
Athlon 64 X2 6400+ processor
500gb hard drive
2gb memory
Vista Home premium
17" Flatscreen Monitor
keyboard & mouse
total £481.94.............this can be tweaked to less or more powerful
then leaves you over a hundred quid left to get a printer......i always buy HP as a think they are the best but that just my opinion
