there is such a big variety out there mairead

dells are cheap, but their customer support and replacement parts delivery stinks........sorry Keith just my experience of them at the school...i get my bits on the web but i can easily get there in Min's if i need to get something swapped out.....you can pay well over a £1000 for a top notch PC

a lot of it with techies at least is personal choice, with the part makes

Absolutely agree!

I should say that the forums are running on dell :) albeit a cluster of about 20 superpowered ones with vmware infrastructure and a LOT of memory but still! :lol:

dell business support is fine had no problems with them when i worked on sites, but the consumer end is rubbish.........ive not had any probs with them at all in the work enviroment.....i just wouldnt buy one :lol:
