Wait for Johnie to get on line, she has one near where she lives and loves to go there :D
I so wanted to go to one of those, but didn't really get a chance. It looks so yummy. I did have a friend go and they loved it, but considered it expensive.
That menu confused me.
I just want the chocolate one please.
Just give me some cheese and bread and I'll be fine....please check in on me in a few days.
We've been several times and it is a wonderful place. The cheese fondue is wonderful, and as a starter can ruin you for the rest of the meal! It truly is filling and yes, we can easily make a meal out of it.
The main fondue choices are extensive and equally wonderful. We have always chosen the court bouillion over the hot oil, as we don't much care for fried food. We put our vegetables in first and leave them the longest (potato is a bit tricky, and something that can easily be skipped for a more fondue friendly choice).
It is a slow meal, perfect for visiting and having wonderful conversations. They have a decent wine list, as well.
Their chocolate fondue is lovely too!
I highly recommend this restaurant. It's not far from DTD either. It's in the Dr. Phillips area that is easily reached by taking Hotel Plaza Blvd, to Crossroads where you'll take a left (and move immediately to the right lane) followed by a quick right onto Palm Parkway which becomes Turkey Lake Rd. At the intersection of Turkey Lake and Sand Lake take a left and follow the road along for a short way. Melting Pot will be in the row of shops on the right.
It can be pricey, but it's well worth the cost in both food, ambience and fun!
Yep, you do your own cooking hun, it's all fondue :D
It sounds like all sorts of fun to me :D
You do your own cooking???!!!!
Stuff that - I'm on holiday.
