Tomorrowland attraction gets new name

As of yesterday, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, the “super skyway” that allows guests a glimpse of a variety of attractions in Tomorrowland of Magic Kingdom, will be renamed Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.

The ride opened in 1975 as the WEDway PeopleMover. It has been called Tomorrowland Transit Authority since 1994.

Ok, whew...I thought they were really going to change the name to something completely different. I'm ok with this and approve. :D

I absolutely love this simple, but fantastic ride.

Cool to add that back into the name :)

...now if they'll just fix the audio and that awfully boring blank bit at the end of space mountain :/

LOL. Some of us never stopped calling it the People Mover! LOL.

We've always called it the Peoplemover anyway. :D
An all-time classic, never-to-be-missed attraction. Long may it continue. :yes:
