It’s December so of course Santa Claus and his elves are extremely busy. Still, The Big Man always finds time to visit Walt Disney World, so make sure your little one is ready for a heart-to-heart, or at least a photo.
The best places to find Santa on Disney property are:
** Epcot: 1:30 to 9 p.m. daily through Dec. 24 at The American Adventure. Each country in the World Showcase also features storytellers who describe local holiday traditions. In many countries, the storyteller is a representation of Santa, such as Pere Noel in France and Father Christmas in England.
** Downtown Disney Marketplace: noon to 9:30 p.m. daily through Dec. 24 at Santa’s Chalet in front of World of Disney. Santa Goofy will take over from 3 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 25 through Jan. 3.
** Magic Kingdom: The Jolly Old Elf makes an appearance in Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Remaining dates are tonight, Dec. 12, 14, 16, 17 and 19. (Dec. 19 is sold out.)
If he’s not called back to the North Pole, Santa might be spotted in the Magic Kingdom after the last Christmas party and in most hotel lobbies on Christmas Eve as he was last year. No guarantee on those locations, though.
