It's really sad as I really don't subscribe to the celebrity culture but I have had quite a few responses from famous people, yesterday I congratulated stephen mangan for the excellent dirk gently yesterday and he replied , sad but kinda cool.

Really have no desire to tweet. I am on Facebook and I play Mafia Wars.

dw loves the celeb side and whereas the celeb websites are generally updated by their "people" they seem to use twitter themselves which can result in some pretty funny and direct posts.
I don't do the celeb thing BUT I do like that I can comment directly to someone and get a personal reply.
The other thing about twitter is that the trending topics really can deliver world news in advance of, and with less censorship than, any other media source.
I had a tweet from the wonderful Amber Benson a while back and it made me:mental: for 3 days.
I got a DM from Phill Jupitus once! :D
