Universal Studios' Mardi Gras 2011

Every Saturday and select nights from February 12th – April 23rd live concerts by some of the biggest names in music perform at Universal Studios Orlando as part of their Mardi Gras celebrations. (Mardi Gras events are included with park admission). The special nights feature a spectacular parade, colourful street performers and authentic Cajun food. Here are details of some of the top-name headliners appearing at this year’s Mardi Gras.

Interesting that they extend Mardi Gras celebration all the way to Easter when in actuality Mardi Gras ends the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday which this year is 8 March.
