Hundreds of Top Cheerleading Teams to Compete at Walt Disney World
This weekend, over 420 teams from 33 different states will descend upon the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for the 31st annual National High School Cheerleading Championship, administered by the Universal Cheerleaders Association, a Varsity brand. The parks will be filled with spectators cheering on their favorite teams. This is Varsity’s 17th year holding this championship at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Teams qualified for the event by receiving bids at UCA Regional Competitions across the country. Winners will receive medals, a trophy and the ultimate prize: 2011 UCA National Championship satin jackets. Each routine will be on Varsity TV on Varsity.com, and there will be special features and interviews with selected teams.

Yes. It kinda stunk, really. It didn't make the parks noticeably more corwded/busy. But, lots of kids running around in groups of 10-15. Mostly being loud but some were respectful of everyone else.
We had a groups with us on Soarin' and they were completely obnoxious to where we almost stepped out.
Similarly, a group of 89 (we counted) all entered the single-rider entrance at Test Track. Totally backed things up for a while for all those in line (we had FP). Granted they all didn't ride together, it just clogged the regular line. Someone near us went and complained to the person running the line and they did try to stop them from using the single-rider line.
