Disney World and Eastern Airlines, 1971
In this somewhat creepy ad, a little girl wanders the forest trying to figure out how to get to Walt Disney World. Problem solved by Eastern Airlines, which proves that you can fly – on a round trip flight with Eastern.
Epcot, 1988
Epcot Center – now known by the cooler, single name of Epcot – is seen here as an around-the- world and into-the-future adventure. Michael Jackson even makes an appearance as the famous Captain EO in the much loved 3-D action musical.
The Cosby Kids, 1980s
Boy those Cosby kids were everywhere, weren't they? Judging by this ad, the TV family sure likes Disney World. Though, we wonder if their dad was too busy pushing pudding pops to make an appearance.
MGM Studios Opening, 1989
Not too long ago, Disney's Hollywood Studios was known as MGM Studios. This ad from MGM's opening shows how, at this park, the movies come alive.
Walt Disney World Commercial shown on Canadian television, 1994
One of my favourites - too excited to sleep.

Re: Vintage Disney World Commercials
Alas Eastern is now defunct. My late Uncle used to work for them. I believe they were subsumed by Delta.

Actually John, I don't believe they were.
Eastern declared bankruptcy in 1989 and shut down operations in 1991. Up till that time, various pieces were sold off in an attempt to stave off the inevitable. For example, the Eastern Shuttle service was sold to Donald Trump. For the most part however, the assets were just sold off and the creditors paid. The name was sold to the Airline Acquisition Corp and it was going to try to resurrect the brand. So far, that hasn't happened.
But I still remember them fondly. Especially, the "If you had Wings" ride in Tomorrowland.
I worked as a vendor with an OEM in Miami on their reservation system for a number of years.
Just to try to stay on topic on this, my favorite Disney commercial is that last one. That dad's just like me when we're going! :mental:
Tom (:macwave:... sorry. Got off topic a bit.)

Re: Vintage Disney World Commercials
Thanks Tom, Delta apparently subsumed the Pan Am shuttle and US Airways eventually took over the Trump shuttle which as you say took over part of Eastern. Man when I think of all the airlines that have come and gone over the years.
Capital
National
Ozark
Northeast
Eastern
Pan Am
TWA
Piedmont
Allegheny
Sabena
Probably dozens more.
