1st time visitors
Hi, We are a family of 4 going to Disney for the first time. We are going to spend 8 days. We have a toddler and a 10 YO. I am also a cancer survivor with some handicaps, having no energy is one of them. We are looking to have a fun time but take it slowly, if that can be done?

Hi and welcome to Secrets.
You will have a fantastic time, it is definitely possible to take your time at Disney, I can't manage a whole day, so we tend to go in the mornings and rest in the afternoon so that we can do something at night if we want to.
With lots of planning you will have a great time :D

Welcome! You'll be able to do the parks in any way that works for you. Fast passes will help you with waiting. You won't need to stand on line for long periods if you use them as often as possible. Also, you may want to check into getting a guest assistance pass. That may help you too.

Hi there,
You'll love Secrets. These boards have some of the nicest people out there and we are all here to help you in anyway we can.
There is no rules about how much needs to be done in a day. You should get a wheelchair in the parks. The walking will wear you out and the wheelchair will make a huge difference.
When I make a reservation for someone the Disney res agent asks what is your guest celebrating? Family reunion, anniversary, birthdays etc but in your case you are celebrating life! Good for you!
