Got a friend who's planning to drive from Florida up through Georgia to Tennessee and is looking for somewhere for an overnight stopover.
Any suggestions?
Or anywhere to definitely avoid.

Where in Tennessee is she headed?
There are some decent stops around Macon off of I75. Avoid staying too close to Atlanta. Valdosta is another Georgia stop that's not too bad.
Yeah, avoid Tennessee. ;)
I survived Tennessee
I rafted down the Ocoee river, with the Deliverance music going round in my head.
Pigeon Forge
Oh, it's a lovely state, I'm sure! I've only driven through (and had a REALLY odd experience once, which is where my comment comes from) so honestly have no dog in this show. :D
I stayed at a campsite near Ocoee and the bathrooms there had no doors on the cubicles. Instead they had a curtain you pulled across. We nicknamed them the "whistling toilets" because you had to whistle while you were in there so that people knew it was occupied. :point:
