So I just ordered tickets...

..for my Mom (we have AP's ;)) from AAA. When buying tickets from AAA, they give you the Diamond Parking pass (well worth it if you are driving IMHO). Now the odd thing about this transaction was that they didn't allow me to have the tickets sent to us. Instead we have to pick them up at Will Call when we arrive. AND they gave us the link to print out our own parking pass. Very cool, but it seems like you could print out a bunch of them and hand them out (not that I would do that)... I just wonder if they will question the validity of the pass...

They should. People are selling those same ones on Ebay.

I was thinking about joining AAA . Our G 6 is only three years old, but its a piece of cr*p and a gas guzzler . Jim works 40 minutes each way . Do they give a nice discount on AP's luv ? Might be worth having AAA for the winter months until we trade it in hopefully next year . :rolleyes008:

You can't get any discounts on the AP unless you are DVC members.

I've always purchased my APs (and renewed them) through AAA and never received the Diamond Parking pass. Do you need to ask for it? :unsure:

Where is the parking in the lots? I'm assuming it's closer than regular parking?

AAA will only give you the diamond parking pass if you purchase tickets from them. Since they don't sell AP's you can't get one that way. I managed to get a parking pass from them last year but that's cause the guy on the 800# said it was ok since I was a member. This year, I purchased a pass via Ebay. It was $10 and the colored pass not the one you can print at home.

The AAA parking is closer to the front. It's usually right next to the disabled parking lot.

I love the AAA parking...
