I'm kind of fond of the Santa Claus starring Tim Allen. Not the sequels, but the original one. Nothing better than an Oscar Mayer wiener whistle for Christmas.
(Sadly, I'm old enough to remember those. Here, for those too young, I'll look it up for you!)
And... for a slightly twisted Christmas change of pace, "Christmas with the Kranks" is rather entertaining.
Tom (:macwave:... God Bless us, every one!)
Mine are Miracle on 34th Street and White Christmas.
I have also watched the Grinch at Christmas too many times because the girls love it
Oh yes, the Grinch. Herself likes that.
An catrancher, thanks. I like A Christmas Carol too.
Wow, too many to even think of. White Christmas, Miracle on 34th St., It's a wonderful life, Home Alone 1, The Santa Clause.
IAWL.....wonderful movie. I even have over the years opened the planetarium to my friends after hours and presented that on the dome. It is always a wonderful time seeing that with my friends and their kids..
We usually have some cocktails, coffee and deserts after hitting one of the Old Town restaurants.
We get to do it again as the planetarium has been remodeled and reopened.
My favorite Christmas movie is the original Miracle on 34th Street. I do like the Santa Clause movies very much.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story are my absolute favorite funny Christmas movies. I also think Elf is pretty funny too.
Johnie you have posted two of mine - national lampoon and elf! I dont find either of them really funny anymore, but they just mean christmas to me!
Also, santa claus the movie - i think he is just one of the best santa's ive seen!
Muppet Christmas Carol.
We watch this every Christmas Eve, it's a tradition for us now.
"After all there's only one more sleep till Christmas" :applaudit:
The muppets!! How could i leave the muppets off my list!
Tis the season to be jolly and joooyeous, fa la la! :happybounce:
It doesn't surprise me that Tink already named my favorite. Nestor, The Long-Eared Christmas Donkey. It makes me cry these days for a whole new set of reasons.
I love all the movies, cartoons, songs..anything. I can't get enough. Except for some of the new breed of cartoons, ie: Grandma got run over by a reindeer  Not my cup of tea.
