Iceploration begins at Busch Gardens on 2nd February 2012
Starting tomorrow the 2nd February 2012, Iceploration begins at Busch Gardens, Tampa.
The 30 minute show combines some of the most amazing aspects of the park’s rich entertainment history, including world class skaters, larger than life puppets, amazing costumes, original music and even animal stars.
Iceploration tells the story of Austin, who believes technology keeps his pre-teen generation connected more than ever, and his grandfather and old world explorer, who encourages him to put down the smartphone and “explore the world,” including the African Serengeti, Great Barrier Reef, the Arctic and the Amazon rainforest.
After the curtain comes down at your favorite Busch Gardens shows, stick around for a meet-and-greet with the cast. Actors and dancers from many of our shows are available to take pictures with guests after the performance.
Iceploration incorporates 21 live animals including an African ground hornbill, sun conures, Siberian lynx and Siberian huskies.
Among the award winning individuals lending their talents to the creation of Iceploration are a Tony Award-winning costume designer and an Olympic gymnast.
Creating the four tons of ice for the Iceploration stage required 10,000 gallons of water.
Iceploration’s 77 featured costumes took more than 10 months and nearly 500 yards of fabric to construct.
Iceploration will take place daily in the Moroccan Palace Theatre.
