2nd Annual Downtown Disney Car Masters at Downtown Disney

The 2nd Annual Downtown Disney Car Masters is at Downtonw Disney this weekend, the 2nd and 3rd June. Your favourite Cars, Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissle will be there for meet and greet as well as Chip Foose, automative designer who helped design Ramone from “Cars“. Chip also help design the “Cars” wing section of the up and coming Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.

Downtown Disney Car Masters will also have a LEGO interactive zone, “Cars” topiaries, test drive Ridemakerz model cars, a car show hosted by Hess Express with over 100 classic, muscle and exotic cars, a DJ and food trucks. Of course, Downtown Disney Car Masters will have a “Cars” movie marathon at AMC Downtown Disney 24 theaters. This year, at the car show, families can vote for their favorite car and prizes will be given out to the winning cars.

Saturday 2nd June 2012

• Cars 2 characters meet and greet – 9:30am – 7pm
  
  
• Car Show, presented by Hess Express – 9:30am – 7pm
  
  
• High-Performance Karting by Richard Petty Driving Experience – 9:30am – 7pm
  
  
• Chip Foose chat – 2pm at Main Stage
  
  
• Chip Foose merchandise signing at D-Street (“Cars”-inspired art works will be sold and upon purchasing an art work, a wristband will be given to meet Chip and get the art work signed, 2 items signed per guest) – 3pm – 4:30pm
  
  
• Cars movie marathon: Cars – 12:50pm, 6pm; Cars 2 – 10:15am, 3:20pm and 8:25pm
