Brave..

Has anyone gone to see Brave?

Ive read mixed reviews, both about the plot and the amount of violent scenes for little ones.

Have two very little little ones, now Im wondering if we should simply skip it for the time being, Im afraid it could be too gairy for the girls.

Any input?

I saw it over the weekend. I thought a couple of scenes with the bears were a bit intense and could frighten small ones. No one in the theater seemed frightened though.

Another issue some people are having is the nudity. It's just butts. And animated ones at that.

Well it is not modern day Scotland by any means. The film is supposed to be a long, long time ago. Back when people used oars to row boats, and rode horses for transportation and all that.

There used to be brown bears in Scotland and a few years ago they were talking about re-introducing them as well as wolves. I never heard any more about it though :shrug:

Thats what Ive read, that some scenes are a bit too violent, and that the film in general is dark? like everything happens inside a dimly lit castle or the forest.. so probably Natalia will just fall asleep hahahaha

It's a fantastic movie. I would say the coloring is darker than Toy Story.
