I really do want to see this one! Sadly, I just can't justify the 60 miles round trip it would take to get to the movie theater. :sigh:

Think we will be heading out tomorrow evening to see it. My DD Alex is a bigger Disney junkie as me!
I saw it yesterday :) Went with a friend and her three little ones - 2 mths, 4 years and 7 years (oh yes, and also my OWN children  )
I'll be writing more on it later - because it really did give me a lot to think on...but to your specific questions. Yes it's a bit dark. Yes, there are some very gairy parts (the bears are quite fierce and very loud). To give you an idea, my friend had the wee man in his sling and he slept the entire time snuggled up against her, but at one point I had BOTH girls planted firmly in my lap with their arms snaked around my neck and head (and, ahem, HAIR) staring intensely at the screen and not blinking at all. The scenes don't last long, and seem to always be tempered with a bit of humour, but they are there. The "hiney's" were a bit of an eye raiser for the mom I was with, but the girls barely even took notice.
Beautiful music, though :)
Off to see it tonight! Can't wait.
Oh! Did anyone else see the dedication to Steve Jobs at the end. Lovely acknowledgement.
Yes I did see that. Very nice :-)
Did you see the extra bit after the credits???
Thanks so much Becca
I think we will be waiting for it to come out in blueray so I can ff the gairy parts
I've seen the movie twice now. I love the whole movie. I love the dynamic between the mom and the daughter. I have played both roles so it just speaks to me. I am also glad to see a mom NOT die. And even better, a Disney heroine who is NOT obsessed with finding her prince.
Ok I lied....got to mow the lawn instead...but off to see it tonight, then off to Sweet Frogs for something yummy.
