I would like to know this too...
We have never done the formal "Dine with an Imagineer". However, a few years back we were fortunate enough to be eating at the "Cooking Place" at JIKO at the same time as the imagineer who was redoing Haunted Mansion (the inside part). We had a great conversation, and shared meals and wines with him. Most of the wine was free because they kept pouring him different wines and every time they poured him one they poured one for us also.
I haven`t dined with an Imagineer but one of them gave a talk on one of our cruises which was very entertaining....he was one of the lead Imagineers developing the Tower of Terror.
He was a very pleasant guy who was more than willing to chat to the guests after his presentation.
