I'd like to mix and match my crockery
Me too.
I used to collect certain patterns (for years, long ago) but ended up selling it all.
I've kept away from starting up again for 16 years! Now, I'm slipping back into the mode. :D
I just simply love old patterns, old china, old porcelain...
Diane, I am so looking forward to your photos!!
Sorry, Tink, bit of a delay with photos. I'm stripping old paint off a door today so will try to organise some time for crockery tomorrow. :)
That plate you have on the far left... I'm pretty sure my Mother has one like that somewhere's, it looks so familiar to me. Going to have to go looking now.
I love old mismatched crockery... I personally can't abide the sets you can buy in a box. I love eating a sandwich and thinking... where has this plate been... who owned it and what fine boudoir did it come from.
That's ok, Diane! I'll wait.
Yes, Esme. Me too. I like the pieces to have something in common, like roses, or color, or flowers even, but I like mixing and matching. That's why I liked the clear plates so much. They'll go nicely with the Lennox.
Phew, I've finally found my way back to this thread. :)
Here are some of my favourite patterns:

I particularly like Paragon china and Losolware.
So, so pretty!!! Thank you for sharing! :hug2:
Ooh I love that green and gold dish. Again my Mum has/had (sorry don't like to talk of her in the past tense) one just like the blue one.
I have several serving dishes in the green & gold pattern. They're perfect for Christmas day lunch. :)
Yeah see they're the type of tableware we grew up with alongside modern stuff.
