Can Cruise Money be Transferred?
Not sure if anyone will have a clue, but thought i'd try before hubby rings Disney Cruise Line tomorrow.
We've booked a cruise for Jan 2013 but have now realised that we probably wont be able to go as we are trying for a family and don't want to wait and not be able to use it if we do fall pregnant.
We have decided we are going to try to book last minute flights and the pennies we have with Complete Orlando transfer to tickets.
I just wondered if the money we have already paid towards the cruise we would be allowed to transfer to disney accommodation or a gift card or anything similar?
Any ideas??

Re: Can Cruise Money be Transferred?
Lisa,
That far out I believe Disney will give you a complete refund of any monies you've paid toward a cruise. They'll refund it to you the same way you paid it. If you put it on a credit card, they'll give you a credit on the same card. Of course, you can then spend it any way you'd like. The specifics of the refund policy are here in the cruise terms and conditions. I do believe you have to cancel either by phone or in writing.
Tom (:macwave:... not canceling my reservation. Nope. No way.)

Good luck on getting your money back and trying for a baby :hug2:
Re: Can Cruise Money be Transferred?
I believe the terms are you get a full refund as long as you cancel 90 days prior to sail. We had put a deposit on a cruise in Novemeber of last year and our balance was due end of February. We had to cancel the cruise a few days before the balance was due and received a full refund back to our credit card within a few days.

I'm glad you got the deposit back from Disney Cruise Line :)
I've been looking at Complete Orlando's terms and conditions and it differs depending on whether you are cancelling or changing.
As you are more than 56 days out you will lose your deposit if you cancel, but changing is between £35 and £75 per person and it must all be put in writing if you cancel or change.
I hope you don't lose too much money :hug2:

They have said we can pay £75 each amendment fee and move it to later in 2013 so we'd loose £150 of what we've paid but I don't know if we'll be able to go next year.
Is there any way you could possibly go earlier, you never know you might be lucky and come back with Disney baby :hug2:
