Sorry I can't help you brit. I went on the regular version shortly after it opened and I haven't gone near the building since. :blech:
I have only been on the main one never again felt sick for the rest of the day
I believe they both move, just differently. However, I can't speak for the green side as I always ride the normal side. I know Donna has ridden both and she said never again for either side.
Nanny Lesley rode the chicken side and immediately wanted to go on it again.
You get a sense of movement but it's more of a floating movement than anything and there is certainly no rough or spinning movements. It's hard to explain but it's very smooth.
I tried both, first the chicken one then the other. The chicken one was great, but the other, omg I felt so sick. :blech: I would certainly recommend the chicken version.
I have done both, I wouldn't go on the spinning one again as I felt really sick,

I am glad other people found it a problem not just me
I went on the original version when the ride first open and I was sick for a good hour or two afterwards. A few years later I went on the "chicken version" and I felt fine afterwards.
I no longer feel the need to try the ride. I also no longer feel the need to ride Rock and Roller coaster, Teacups, Star Tours, and soon Expedition Everest will be added to this list. I find that as the older I get the more the rides affect my equilibrium.
