Google offers panoramic views of Kennedy Space Center
The space agency granted five Google Street View team members access to key areas of Kennedy Space Center, where they spent a week capturing high-resolution imagery with a variety of cameras and tools. The result is a 360-degree photographic recreation of the complex.

These are really cool!
Been a long time since I've been in the VAB!
I used to have pretty free rein around the Cape back when I worked for a vendor that supplied NASA down there.
It's amazing to look at the difference up close and personal between Launch Complex 5 (Mercury/Redstone) and Launch Complex 39A/B.
Tom (:macwave:... watching launches since Freedom 7!)

Brilliant Keith :D
We are going twice this year as we are doing all the special tours for their 50th Anniversary, so we will be going in the VAB, to the Launch Pad and inside Mission Control :D

oh my gosh that's truly brilliant... the VAB one was great but I'd really like to do the others too. Not sure DW would though :/

Chris and I both like things like this and as each tour is 2 hours or more, we are going to get an annual pass for $50 so we can go on 2 days.
There will be live photos :D

I really wanted to see inside the VAB on our recent trip but unfortunately somehow I ran out of time and never managed to visit KSC this time.
I hope they keep this attraction open to the public for a while so that I can visit it on our next trip. :fingers:

Terry, it will be open until the end of this year because it is one of the special tours for KSC's 50th Anniversary after that I don't know :sorry:
Maybe if it has proved popular then they will keep it going, the only thing is that the shuttle won't be in there anymore as it will be moved to the new exhibit in 2013.
