I wonder if Virgin still stop doing man->orlando direct anyway now they're starting to offer their own shuttle down from manchester to heathrow. I could imagine it being much easier for them to can the man->orl route and just connect passengers down to heathrow.

In truth, although I prefer direct of course, the BA manchester terminal -> london and out is nowhere near as bad as it used to be. It's actually pretty efficient so if there's a decent cost saving involved, I'd do it.

i loved going from terminal 5 to Miami and it's a bonus for us northerners as it's Heathrow and not Gatwick!

I did see that 'inside Gatwick' program and the BA area did look pretty good. We have considered doing an indirect flight to save a few £, butility I'm not too keen. It'd have to be massively cheaper to justify that ;)

it's a really easy drive if that makes a difference and if you don't do the parks on your last day then it's fine. I actually really like driving (being driven lol) in the US, the road kill is amazing LOL

By indirect I meant 2 flight, like going to Chicago or Atlanta first. Hadn't even thought of driving from Miami...

3 1/2 hours but it's very easy driving, what we tend to do is fly in then drive an hour in the direction of our location and stay in a hotel, get an early night then up early next day, you can be checking in by 9am:thumbsup:

Anthony's just had a look at it seems to cost more going to Miami anyway.

It's a really boring drive from Miami though :lol:
