Actually, our handsome Jons not with standing, I'm pretty certain it was the tourists from Japan that started it. :yes: :D

It seems like they have a serious love for plaid bottoms with striped tops (the men). The women are extremely creative with layers of short frilly skirts, ankle leggings, wild shoes and nearly anything goes "tops." Love to see their creations.

I at first thought the plaid and striped combos were a result of the "last day this is all I have left that is clean" syndrome, but see it so very often now (and equally as often NOT on tourists) that I've come to realize it's a "new thing" or trend, if you will.

To each their own. I remember leg warmers, you know? :lol:
