well indeed ;-) that's exactly it.... and the queue jumpers, folks who smoke in non-smoking areas, the people who push in at parade time and and and.....
Re: Be Our Guest Restaurant at the New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom to Serve Alcohol
 I'm glad that others noticed the bad behavior as well. It is a shame. I've had several people with families tell me that they don't want to go to the F&WF (in particular) because of all the drunk people. Goodness knows, I do my fair share of drinking but the groups can be very unDisneylike. Esp when they are drunk with their strollers!
I've also seen the other end where people complain about no alcohol in MK. Seems sad to me that one can't go all day without alcohol. But, I think that may well be the substance abuse counselor in me coming out.

Live and let live and all that.
If people are causing problems to other people whether through alcohol or just general idiocy, they should be spoken to and ultimately removed from the park. Period.
That shouldn't stop the vast majority of sensible people having a glass of wine with dinner though
Keith, I totally agree. If people get unruly then Disney should escort them out of the park.

See I was waiting for this one :nono: It's not a matter of being unable to go all day without it and I doubt that was ever the complaint made :). Some people simply desire it and there's no earthly reason, other than an arbitrary decision made decades ago, why they should be denied that little pleasure whilst having a meal on holiday. It's really not a substance abuse/dependance issue.
Looking at it another way. Making it available makes some people happy and the others who don't want it, have lost nothing and can simply not take advantage of the offer. I guess it would annoy the uber control freaks who want to inflict their belief systems on everyone else but surely that again is a minority  or I'd hope so anyway.
Re: Be Our Guest Restaurant at the New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom to Serve Alcohol
Yep, agree with you one hundred percent, Keith. Wishing to have a glass of wine with dinner, is not a substance abuse issue, any more than eating dinner is an eating disorder issue.
Clark, agreed! I've been run into by scooters as much as strollers!!! Whiners at WDW should go back to the hotel, eh?
Re: Be Our Guest Restaurant at the New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom to Serve Alcohol
Who said you did? You did however imply that wanting a glass of wine with dinner was an inability to go all day without alcohol, and then alluded to substance abuse via counseling training. Just because a person would like a glass of wine with dinner does not mean they "cannot go all day" without alcohol.
And I find this little guy  quite cute!
Now, can we move on please? It's been done to death, this "alcohol in MK" thing. Thanks!
Re: Be Our Guest Restaurant at the New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom to Serve Alcohol
 That reminds me of the wine glasses Herself and I bought on one of our cruises. They are large enough to hold a bottle of wine between the two of them. :D
