Just to throw my two cents into the topic, when I am NOT on vacation I may go out and have a couple of drinks 2-3 times a month but when I am on vacation I love to have a FEW drinks and maybe a couple more. I like the fact that there isn't alcohol served in MK... Not sure why but I like it.. I have left the MK and taken the monorail to the Poly or contemporary and have a had a drink or two before heading back to MK for EMH.

I've had, by far, more issues with people being rude and obnoxious regarding smoking than I've had with people drinking. :nono:
This whole thread should just prove to Disney that it should bring back Pleasure Island!!

Well there's a thought, DisneyFreak. Killing PI was a very odd move on Disney's part. I've "heard" all the party line, but don't really buy much of it. DTD's PI is nothing more than an extension of the shopping mall that has become the norm for DTD.
There were truly unique and wonderful experiences at PI. Adventurer's Club for one, eh? :sigh:
Butterhead, we too have left the MK and taken a break at the area resorts under the guise of having a drink. :D I say guise because for us it's more to get away from the commando strollers than anything. Whew!
