The "We are Officially Here" Report - Days 1 to 3 "The Beginning"
Hi all, as the title says we arrived on Wednesday, unpacked, grabbed something to eat and had an early night.
Thursday we had a very quiet day. I had a headache hangover :lol: and no, it was not from too much drink on the flight :taunt:
I was really disappointed because we had hoped to be able to have a quick meet with Jeff and Stephen as it was their last day, we will just have to arrange something in Cardiff when we go next year :D
We haven't really done much yet, sat by the pool and listened to the wildlife and just relaxed. Went up to Publix and got one of their subs for lunch and a chicken and some salad for dinner.
Today we haven't really decided, don't think it will be a park though as we are saving activating our Annual Passes until next week. It's driving me :mental: :mental: I wanna go now :lol:

Glad to hear you've arrived and are getting settled in. I agree with Dorothy, go to DTD and get a pre-park fix of all things Disney.

We are shipping at the Altamonte Springs Mall at the moment, just stopped for a bite to eat. There was a fairly short line at the Apple Store I would have thought it would have been longer.

Monorail ride is a good cure for that.

We are off to DTD tonight for the evening :) I think it's time for an Earl of Sandwich followed by Ghirradellis :yes:
We went to Altamonte Springs today, mainly for Hollister and A & F for the girls. The mall is very small, nowhere near the size of the Florida Mall but it was nice and quiet.
I can confirm that there were sales on in both stores so if you have girls (or boys) that love Hollister or A & F then you can get some really good bargains here :D
There is the normal food hall off to one side, the larger department store like Sears, Dillards etc are very small in comparison to the others we have been to.
There is a really nice restaurant called the Elephant Bar, we had a very nice lunch in there, here is their menu
I don't think we'd drive all the way up there again, but it was a day out and the girls will be happy :D
